Lettings Property Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lettings Property Manager to become a part of our client’s team and assist in overseeing their expanding property portfolio.

As a Lettings Property Manager, you will be responsible of ensuring that all properties under your supervision are compliant with all applicable regulations.

Location: Swindon, SN1

Salary: A salary between £24,000 and £27,500 (Dependent on experience)(Commission)

Hours: 8:45am to 5:30pm

Days: Monday to Friday(In-person)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Manage a portfolio of properties.
  • Conduct property inspections ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard.
  • Negotiate renewal tenancy agreements with landlords & tenants including Rent Increases.
  • Liaise with landlords, tenants, and contractors to ensure maintenance issues are resolved promptly and to a high standard.
  • Ensure all legal and regulatory requirements are met, including compliance with relevant health and safety and fire safety regulations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all tenants, dealing with enquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Experience in lettings management or property management.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, including the Landlord and Tenant Act and Health and Safety regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and work under pressure.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
