Yard Operative

Responsive Personnel are seeking Yard Operatives to join our client who are in the timber business. This isn’t just any yard op job, you will be heavily involved in a variety of tasks around the site and is a great opportunity for someone looking to learn new skills.

Duties will include:

• Preparing cutting machines
• Using pressing machines to build frames & joists
• Using a variety of hand tools
• Moving heavy loads of wood around the site.

You must:

• Have good attention to detail
• Be comfortable working in a noisy and dusty envrionment
• Be willing and keen to learn.

Training opportunities are available for the right candidates.

Due to location, ideally candidates will drive.

You will work from 08:00-16:30 Monday Friday.

£11.44 per hour, with an attendance bonus on offer bringing you up to £10.78 per hour
