7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver

Responsive Personnel are recruiting for full time 7.5 tonne Delivery Drivers, this role is based in Winterbourne, Monkton.

Hours: Early shifts

Pay rate: up to £28,000 a year.

Area: Swindon and further afield.

Main Duties:

• Deliver customers orders to their premises.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
• Operating an assigned 7.5 tonne vehicle.
• Provide excellent customer service to our customers.
• Comply with all regulatory requirements for the transport of products.
• Ensuring that loads are safe and properly secured.
• Comply to all Dangerous Goods regulations.

Key Skills and requirements: 

• Delivery Driver experience – 1 year (preferred)
• Driving experience – 1 year (essential)
• Full valid UK driving licence permitting 7.5 tonne (Category C1) vehicles.
• Less than 6 penalty points on your licence (ideally a clean licence is preferred).
• The ability to lift heavy items such as home furniture and compliances.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A real positive and ‘can do’ flexible attitude.
• Physically able to carry out the duties needed.
• An ADR licence would be desirable but not essential.
• Forklift (counterbalance) licence desirable.
