CNC Setter/Operator – Day Shift
Gloucestershire (Easily commutable from Cirencester, Swindon, Stroud, Cheltenham)
£14-£18 per hour (DOE)
Day shift only – No nights or weekends

An established precision engineering company, supplying high-spec components to the aerospace, medical, and defence sectors, is looking for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity to work with cutting-edge machinery in a clean, modern workshop, producing high-precision parts for industries that demand excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Setting and operating CNC machines (Fanuc, Mazak, Heidenhain, etc.)
• Working with a variety of materials to tight tolerances
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Ensuring quality standards are met through first-off and in-process inspections
• Working closely with engineers and production teams to optimise processes

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience as a CNC Setter/Operator (Milling, Turning, or both)
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring equipment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Prior experience in aerospace, medical, or defence manufacturing is beneficial but not essential
