Digital Marketing Coordinator 

As the Digital Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating and managing compelling content across social media channels, email campaigns, and the club’s website.

The primary objective of this role is to increase footfall at our clients sporting games by engaging and expanding their fan base through strategic digital initiatives.

Your innovative ideas and marketing expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients online presence and driving attendance at their games.

By effectively leveraging digital platforms, you will help to build a strong, engaged community of supporters and ensure that every game is a must-attend event.

Content Creation:

  • Create engaging digital content, including videos and graphics, using the provided templates.
  • Ensure that all content meets quality standards and is delivered within deadlines.
  • Write compelling copy for social media posts and press releases, capturing the essence of the club including the team, match night and community.
  • Tailor messaging for different platforms and target audiences

Social Media:

  • Update social media calendars with planned content for the month
  • Implement social media campaigns by scheduling content across various platforms.
  • Monitor social media channels, engage with our fanbases, and respond to enquiries or comments promptly.
  • Analyse social media metrics and insights to identify trends and optimise content for increased engagement.
  • Assist with sourcing statistics for sponsorship reports

Digital Growth:

  • Stay up to date with marketing trends to utilise and increase engagement
  • Provide recommendations for increasing engagement
  • Contribute to strategies for growing social media followers and increasing engagement.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement initiatives such as competitions.

Website:

  • Update and maintain the website, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information. This includes game results, fixture and news. The website is custom built and currently is hosted within wordpress.

Email Marketing:

  • Creating and implementing email marketing campaigns
  • Segment email lists based on the target audience and personalise content when appropriate.
  • Monitor email campaign performance and make recommendations for improvements.

Game Night Media:

  • Ensure high-quality media coverage of games and events, capturing engaging content for promotional purposes.
  • Manage the media team on game nights including overseeing the live stream, photography and media collection

This role requires someone with high energy and a passion for live sport. Due to the timing of the fixtures, you will be required to work a Sunday evening during the competitive season (September – April)
