Responsive Personnel are on the hunt for a talented and driven Head Chef to lead our clients kitchen and take our clients food offering to the next level. This is a rare opportunity to put your own creative stamp on the menu and work in a venue that values quality, innovation, and team spirit.

Location: Lechlade
Hours: Full-time, including weekdays and weekends.
Salary: £40,000-£43,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily running of the kitchen, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
  • Lead, motivate, and train the kitchen brigade
  • Design and execute seasonal menus with a focus on quality and consistency
  • Manage stock, budgets, GP targets, and supplier relationships
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, and safety
  • Work closely with front-of-house management to deliver a seamless dining experience

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of food costing, kitchen management, and health & safety compliance
  • Creativity and passion for modern, innovative cuisine
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and lead by example
