FLT Drivers – In Date Certificates

Responsive Personnel are excited to be able to offer an exciting opportunities for Forklift drivers to join our pool of great candidates.

We have multiple clients in and around Swindon looking for eager Counterbalance, Reach and Bendi Forklift Drivers. Your forklift certificate can not be older than 3 years as no refresher training is available.

Role: Counterbalance, Reach and Bendi Forklift Driver

Pay rate: From £10.42 – £12.96

Hours: Various shift patterns available (Earlies, Days, Lates or Nights)

Area: Swindon and Surrounding area

Main Duties: 

• Manoeuvring forklifts safely in busy industrial environment.
• Safely stacking and unstacking large quantities of goods onto shelves or pallets.
• Moving goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport.
• Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas.
• Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damages.
• Keeping up to date on health and safety requirements and forklift operating procedures.
• Consolidating partial pallets for incoming goods.

Skills and Experience:

• Ability to work on your own but also in a team with other staff.
• Able to lift heavy loads using correct manual handling techniques.
• Knowledge of warehouse health and safety requirements.
• Knowledge of industrial storage procedures, such as the correct way to stack pallets.
• Accredited forklift operating licence which is no older than 3 years.

**Please note that in some roles you will be required to work off the forklift too.**
